We’ve introduced an upgraded color customization experience in Sitebuilder. This gives your customers more creative control over the look and feel of their websites, moving beyond basic color changes to full palette customization.
Why it’s useful
Your customers can now:
- Personalize their site with custom color palettes that reflect their brand.
- Apply changes consistently across the whole website with one edit.
- Unlock deeper color customization (with premium plans), including typography, buttons, navigation, and decorative elements.
This makes it faster and easier for them to create a professional website that feels truly unique.
How it works
Previously, customers could only choose from preset palettes or make small adjustments within individual blocks. With the new system, color management is centralized and much more flexible.
Now, end-users start by selecting one of the professionally designed palettes available in the Sitebuilder. Each palette includes six complementary color schemes curated by designers. They can use a palette “as is” or customize it by adjusting one or more colors. Any change they make is automatically applied across all blocks that share the same color scheme. This ensures design consistency without needing to edit each block separately.
On basic plans, users can edit the 6 base colors (light, light-grey, dark, dark-grey, primary, secondary), which cover the essential areas of a site. On premium plans, users get deeper control. They can adjust typography (headings, links, price labels), navigation items, button styles, and decorative elements like borders or icons.
As always, the interface shows a real-time preview, so customers can immediately see the impact of their changes before saving. This approach simplifies the process for beginners who just want a polished look, while also giving advanced users and premium customers the tools to create a truly branded experience.
